Trustworthy Hydroxyethyl Methylcellulose supplier

Professional Hydroxyethyl methylcellulose Supplier

HEMC/MHEC, also known as Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, is a non-ionic cellulose ether, made from natural cellulose by chemical modification. HEMC is an odorless, tasteless, non-toxic white powder that swells to a clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution in cold water.

HEMC excels inwater retention, gel temperature, thickening, and film formation.

Michem HEMC is widely used in building materials, cosmetic, coating, ceramic and textile industries.

Michem is a professional manufacturer and supplier of hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose in China. We are committed to researching and developing high-performance hydroxyethyl methylcellulose powder.

We are committed to delivering superior-quality hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose that is sustainable and cost-effective.

Frequently Asked Questions

HEMC is an environmentally friendly material. It is made of natural cellulose, non-toxic, harmless, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly.

It is recommended that MHEC be stored in a dry, cool environment, sealed, and protected from moisture and high temperatures.

HEMC can be compatible with other additives (e.g. PCE powder, powder defoamers, redispersible polymer powder), but compatibility tests need to be carried out according to the specific formulation to ensure stable performance.

Avoid adding directly to hot water or mixing with other powders to avoid caking.

Add a small amount of dispersant (e.g. ethanol) immediately after stopping mixing, or change to pre-dispersion with cold water and mix gradually. The lumps can be sieved and re-dissolved.
